PUKEKOHE ROD AND GUN CLUB.

Championship Contest. Fourteen members took " part on Saturday in the contest for the medal presented by Mr F. Graham for the championship of the Club, ihe contest was 21 birds, viz., 7 shots each from the 10yds, 12yds, and 14yds marks. J. Fausett proved the winner, only having one miss and out of 20 "kills" all but four were scored with the first barrel. The scores at the respective marks were:— J. Fausett, 6, 7, 7, total 20 kills; J. Wright, 6, 6, 6, total 18; J. Keynoldß, 6, 6, 6, total 18; A. P. Daysh, 7, 6, 3, total 16; W. Wilson, 6, 6, 3, total 15; W. McNally. 6, 7, 1, total 14; J. Blake, 4, b, 4, total 13; C. McCormick, 4, 7, 2, total 13; E. Fausett, 5, 4, 3, total 12: A. Vujucich, 6, 4, 2, total 12; L. Roose, 6, 4, 1, total 11; W. boase, 5, 2, 4, total 11; S. Fitne??, 4, 5, 1, total 10; B. Koulston, 2, 5, 1, total S. A six-bird sweepstake off the 12yds mark was won by J. Wright with 6 kills, A. P. Daysh in the shout-off beating W. Wilson aod W. McNally, all four kills, for second prize.
