PUKEKOHE HORSE FAIR.
Messr- Alfred Buekland and Sons summer horse fair was opened in the linn's sale yard-- at Pukekohe yesterday Monday when sumo -00 unbroken unci draught hor-es were -submitted under the hammer. There was a large attendance of interested parties but bidding was poor and a large proportion of thu entries failed to change bauds, the slackness of the sale being attributable to the shortage of feed brought about by the prolonged dry weather. Unbrokens realised up to I-- 10s and draughts up to Itt'u holies submitted on behuli <>l Mr 1!. lloid (Waerenga and Mi 11 ui lock - f" Kauwliata) for the bonelit <d' lljn l'dgian lioli«*f bund made IV I" and l'.i I'm iv'spcrlivclv Light harness horses and harks are being submitted to-day.
