PUKEKOHE HORSE FAIR.

Messr- Alfred Buekland and Sons summer horse fair was opened in the linn's sale yard-- at Pukekohe yesterday Monday when sumo -00 unbroken unci draught hor-es were -submitted under the hammer. There was a large attendance of interested parties but bidding was poor and a large proportion of thu entries failed to change bauds, the slackness of the sale being attributable to the shortage of feed brought about by the prolonged dry weather.
