ACTIVITIES POSTPONED

No sittings of the local Parliamentary Union luive been held since war was declared, the excitement being so great that people could not give their minds to anything else.

Town Board election time is drawing near. A special meeting is to be held to-morrow to correct and sign the roll for the eloction of the new board, which is to consist of seven members instead of live. Tho eloction will be held early in September.
