Weekly Meeting. Those present at Wednesday evening's meeting were—the Mayo; (Mr Lawrie), Lrs Hamilton, Pollock, Hart, Kennelly, Johns and Bilkey. Cr Kennedy, for the Homain Committee, said Mr MtGough had offered 10 acres of his property at £l5O an acre, which, with M" Costello's property, would cost £2500. Cr Johns was cot present to report, but this site was the only one tbey would recommend. —Later on, Cr Johns arrived and said he would have to go over some figures again.- The matter was left over. W. W\ait, waxworks enigneer, reoprted that duringthe fortnight erded Septsrnber 2:ira, he had pumped 268,000 galloiis of water.
