BUCKLAND.
Loyal Pukekohe Lodge. The membership of Loyal Puke kohe Lodge, Manchester Unity of Uddfelltwa,. is well lepresented fsom this district, and much intereit is evinced in the fraternity locally. It is therefore not surprising that the periodical visits made by the members under the auspices of the Lod/e to Bucklsnd, which are usually marked by some social function extended to the residents, should be looked forward to with much interest. A gatheiing of this nature took place in the Bucklsnd Hall on Tuesday evening, Bth fast, when members of the Lodge, after disposing of formal business, entertained a large number of residents socially. A progres ive euchre tournanent mas held daring the first part of the evening, the first and second prizes for the ladies being won respectively by Misses Jefferis and Bagnall, and the men's trophy was annexed by Mr Gordn. A musical programme was afterwards gone through, when various Hems were contributed by a number of the Brethren and visitors.
