Tuakau.
A successful send-off, in the foim of a " smoko " was tendered to Mr Len. Corcoran on Wednesday evening.
The promoters, given only a few hours' notice of " Len's" departure, got to work and gathered in a fair number of the guest's friends in a short space. As usual, Mr. Bell, who by luck happened to be in Tuakau thorough enjoying leave, occupied the chair. Toasts, speeches, and songs were the features of a pleasant hour. Mr. Corcoran was presented with a pipe and pouch.
