MATAMATA RIDER INJURED
CONDITION NOT SERIOUS When riding Glen IFlarne in the Matangi Hurdles at the Waikato Racing Club’s meeting at Te Rapa, Alexander Morton, aged 23, of Matamata, was , thrown from his mount. He received concussion and a fractured collarbone. He was removed to the Waikato Hospital, where his condition is not serious. Morton is an apprentice in A. McArthur’s stable.
