TOKOROA v. ARAPUNI Thi s match, played at Tokoroa, resulted in a win for Arapuni by an* innings and 33’ runs. The Arapuni skipper, B. Lowry, won the toss and sent Tokoroa in to bat. The Tokoroa batsmen failed against the Arapuni attack, only Puckey reaching double figures, this batsman resisting the bowlers for an hour and 10 (minutes and only scoring 11 runs. The team were out for 22. Arapuni replied with 72, B. Lowry and Barr batting well, each player hitting a six.
