Pukeatua

NEW PUBLIC HALL Opening With Dance Great interest is apparent in Pukeatua in the new public hall now being completed for the official opening next Wednesday. Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P., has consented to perform the opening ceremony before the dancing commences. He will be accompanied by Mrs. Broadfoot and a number of public body members. Clayton’s orchestra of five has been engaged to play the dance music, and it is anticipated that it will not be until well into the early hours of the following morning before dancing ceases. A number of residents of the Putaruru district are expected to attend the function.
