The aeroplane “ Aorangi ” visited Putaruru on Sunday and attracted about a hundred people to Mr. W. H. Barnett’s farm on Arapuni road, which was used as a landing ground. Air-pilot “ Scotty ” Fraser gave two perfect parachute descents, while a number of residents had their first flights in an aeroplane.
