CREDIT BALANCE IN HAND. The secretary of the Matamata A. and P. Society (Mr. B. Blennerhassett) was able, in his estimate of receipts and expenditure in connection with the recent show, to state that he anticipated a credit of £63, after making conservative estimates of receipts and liberal allowances of outgoings. it the show hau been a day later we would have been £6O on the wrong side, said the president (Mr. J. E. West), in an allusion to the rain next day.
