PUTARURU V. MATAMATA. The A teams from the above club-, will meet at Putaruru on Saturday, when the Putaruru team will be as follows:—Men : A. C. Thompson, E. Turner, L. J. Sole, F. D. Martin, O. Hope, S. J. Parker. Ladies : Mesdames O’Sullivan, Gasparich, Cliffe, Alcorn. Reserves : J. G. Gasparich, D. Jones/F. Peters, Mrs. Snell. MATAMATA CLUB. In the final of the C Grade competition, played at Tirau, MataimUn beat Selwyn by seven sets to one. The A team will play Putaruru at Futarutu in the final for the banner on Saturday, the .players being as follow : Laurenson, Ward, McKenna, McDonald, Bennett, Fitzgerald, Beverley (2), Kusabs, Parr. The following B team will play Mokai at Tirau in the final in the B grade competition for the Macmillan ■ Cup : Egan, O’Halloran, Heeps, Macken, Whitehead, Edwards, Mrs. Madill, Misses Robinson, Bull, Landells ; reserves, Mentiplay, Corbett, Mrs. McCardle, Miss Bell.
