ANOTHER MOTOR COLLISION.

TWO CARS NEAR TAIHOA. Matamata must ,be earning an unenviable name for the frequency of the motor collisions occurring. The poliee measuring tape is being worn out, and the pencils at the Record office require replenshing on account of these multitudinous motor collisions. On Friday ni'ght Constable Heeps was again called out to observe, measue and record the positions of two cars on the Matamata-Tirau road, near the Taihoa corner. One car belonged to Mr. A. McKay, and the other to Mr. G. W. Barker. They (the cars) had been locked in a fond embrace, with the result that Mr. Barker’s car was damaged to the extent of a dented mudguard, a spring displaced, and a broken radius rod, and the hub smashed. Mr. McKay’s car got off with back mudguard and hub damaged. The occupants* were unmanned.
