During the Mcllmume Exhibition season a review of the Colonial and Imperial forces will lie held. The other colonies, including New Zealand, have been invited to send contingents. It is expected 5000 men will bo cmcamped. The two recently constructed harimr steamers. Ozone anil Courier, between which there is a considerable amount of rivalry, had a race over a 25 mile course to-day. The Ozone won easily. Rrisrank, February 18. The barque Relic, which arrived here yesterday from Timaru, passed some hundreds of kerosene tins Heating about on the 2nd February. The Relic also sighted a vessel's hull burned to within a few feet of the water's edge. The bowsprit was still standing. Tiie captain of tlie Relic, in liis report to tlie Collector of Customs, expressed tlie opinion that tlie derelict remains were tlie hull of the ship J. T. Berry, burned at sea on the !>th January last while on the voyage from Philadelphia to Japan, and that tlie floating wreck is exceedingly dangerous to navigation.
