Dublin, January 2<>> Proceedings have been taken to qua h the inquest held at Mitchclslown, in which a verdict of wilful murder was returned against County Inspector Brownrigg and Constables Kirwtn. (invan, Danin, Ryder, and Brennan, and warrants issued for their arrest. The grounds on which it is sought to upset the inquest are that the coroner. Mr R. Rice, was partial; also, that certain of the jttrv were biassed, it having been shown that they were actively enganged in the riot in which three of the victims upon whom the inquest was held, were killed, and that, therefore, the injury was not a legal one. A large force of police and military have been despatched to Galcurragh, as it i. feared that hi lshe-l will re suit over the arrest of Father Svpl us. January 27. I,lr T. O’Brien. M.l*. for Mon i :'uau North, who was arrested on a el.e.r.- - t inciting the people, has been sentence 1 to four months’ imprisonment. Notice of appeal was given.
