POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANKS.

Tho following aro the regulations for the above Bank . 1. Interest at the rate of 4J p«*r cent, per annum is given on 1.200 and under ; at the rate of 4 per cent, p* r annum ou sums under Lf*oo ; and in the same proportion for any shorter time on evert complete LI deposited, protided that no interest be allowed on more than 1.-VML 2. Depositors in the Post-Office Savings Banks have direct Government security for the prompt payment of their money. H. A depositor in any one of the office Banks may continue his d< p«v-it in any other of such Banks, and can with* draw his money at that Post-office Bunk which is most convenience t » him. 4. The strictest secrecy isohservrd with respect to the Names of the Dep«*Mt«>rs in Post-office Banks, and ti e amount* ot their deposits. 5. Money may he deposited by or on behalf of minors. Depositors over seven years of age are treated as persons of full age. but minors under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age ofse\en. t».
