He also allowed me some albatross skins, the birds having been shot by Ticliborne. Mr Aucher remarked at the time that he could not afford to go Home at his own • xpcii-c (for this purpo-e only), and I was ~i impressed by what lie told me. and showed me. that I write a long letter to the Home News on the subject, but beard no more of it. 1 am glad to hear now that Mr Aucher has gone to England on the matter, and fully believe we shall bear more of tins row celtbre. —Yours Ac., Wm S.
