SPLIT BETWEEN GERMAN LEADERS.

LONDON, July 31

Tire storv is widely believed in

Holland that Hindenburg and Ludendorff have had a split. The former, not believing in the offensive, withdrew to the background, and left the management solely in Ludendorff’s hands.

Many German papers are attacking Hindenburg. The “Daily Mail’s” Hague correspondent says that Ludendorff is inspiring them, being anxious to throw the blame upon the popular idol.
