SPECIAL ORDER REGULATING HEAVY TRAFFIC. , NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Pelorus Road Board held on Monday, October 22nd, 1917, a resolution was passed making by-laws for the regulating and controlling of Heavy Traffic in the district of the Pelorus Road Board, and the said resolution will come up for confirmation as a Special Order at a meeting of the Pelorus Road Board to be held on Tuesday, April 30th, 1918, A copy of the said Special Order is now open for inspeeton at the office of the Board. IN PURSUANCE of the Provision of “The Local Election and Polls Act, 1908 and 1913,” I hereby give notice that an election of FIVE MEMBERS of the Pelorus Road Board will be held on Saturday, May 4th 1918,' and I hereby appoint the Pelorus Road Board Office, Havelock, as the place, and Wednesday the 24th day of April, 1918, before 12 o’clock noon as the time for the nomination of candidates, who must be nominated in the manner prescribed by the said Acts. Nomination papers can be obtained at the office during office hours. Messrs E. F. Healey . (Pelorus), J. Kennington (Kaituna), and James Fulton (Mahakipawa) retire by effuxion of time but .are elegible for re-election. Owing to the re-division of Pelorus Sub-division, Chas. Nees retires but is eligible for re-election. A new member or members will therefore require to be nominated for the newly-created Rai Sub-division. C. A’COURT OPIE, Returning Officer.
