PERSONAL.

The Eev. A. H. Heron will be leaving Havelock to-morrow for Queen Charlotte Cound, where, in company with Mrs and Miss Heron, he spend a fortnight's holiday. Amongst those on the list of seriously wounded, just published we are sorry to note the name of Private O. F. Gibbons ("Tony"), second son of Mrs Gibbons, of Canvasto-wn. He left with the 27th Reinforcements.

Second-Lieutenant Cyril R. G. Bassett, V. 0., Divisional Signalling Company, has been wounded in action. Lieutenant Bassett, whose father, Mr F. C. Bassett, of Mount Eden, Auckland, is also on active service, has had a most distinguished career, having been the first New Zealander to gain the V.C. in the present war.
