UNIVERSAL PICTURES.

The weekly show of pictures was well attended on Saturday evening, when the drama "Lost and Won” was screened as the principal attraction. The interest throughout the four parts of this picture was well maintained from start to finish, the concluding wedding scenes in a cathedral, where the bride refuses at the last moment to utter the fateful words that would bind her to the scheming bridegroom, were particularly fine. The supporting subjects were of an interesting, instructive, and amusing character. Another all-star programme is announced for next Saturday.
