HAVELOCK PATRIOTIC SPORTS CLUB

The committee of the above club met at the Commercial Hotel on Friday evening qn business in connection with the coming Easter Monday meeting. The following members attended : Messrs W. H. Buckman (in the chair), W. H. Marriott, F. O, Oowper, L. Smith, G. Pope, E. H. Smith, L. Twidle, E. Dance, F, Galloway, and the secretary, Mr J. B. Loyell.

The name of Mr L, Smith was added to the list of stewards. An offer from Mesdames Bucbman and Wilson to run a produce stall at the meeting was accepted. It was decided that chopping and sawing events included in the Easter programme, and the matter of procuring the necessary blocks was held over till next meeting.

A programme of events on similar lines to last year’s meeting was drawn up and adopted, the full particulars'bf which will be printed in due course. /
