SIR JOSEPH WARD

THE HAVELOCK VISIT Bii* Joseph Ward, Leader of the Opposition, accompanied by Lady Ward and party will arrive in Have--lock from Blenheim shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday. They will be met at the Commercial Hotel by Mr W. H. Smith (chairman of the Town Board) and members of local bodies. The pub'ie address in the Town Hall will commence at 730 p m instead of 8 o’clock as previously advertised, and doors will be opened at 7. , At the conclusion of the political meeting, Sir Joseph Ward wil be entertained in the library by the Liberals of the district. The arrangements for the supper are in the bands of a local caterer, and in order to prevent over-.crowding at the tables, admission will be by ticket, of which a limited number will be issued. The party will leave oa Friday morning for Ward, where a political address will be delivered in the even ing. . '
