HAVELOCK WARDEN’S COURT.

TO BE ABOLISHED. We have authority for stating that for all practical purposes the local Warden’s Court is to be abolished so far as the receipt of fees and the giving of information is concerned. It is intended, we are assured, that after the end of this month all mini g applications are to be sent to Elenheim, where fees have also to be paid. If this is so, it is a step that deserves absolute condemnation from every point of view, and we are sure the settlers in the Wakamarina will protest against it.
