The Fisher Blunder.

Christchurch, August 2. In connection with Mr Fisher’s charges against Captain Seddon, the following letter from Mr Richard Sneddon appears in the local newspapers;—" Seeing my name has been brought before the public in regard to a Government voucher for 4s gd receipted by me on 9th June, 1904, for and on behalf of my employers (Andersons, Limited), I wish to state emphatically that it bad nothing whatever to do with Mr Fisher's charges against Captain Seddon, or, as he states, * for re-organising defence stores.' The voucher was for iron and steel supplied by Andersons, Limited, to the railway stores at Addington, and I am continually signing such vouchers, through the firm being the Government contractors. I know nothing whatever about Mr Fisher’s assertions against Captain Seddon, nor did I give any information regarding this voucher.”
