London, January 2t. Advices from Caracas slate that the German warship Panther was damaged and two Germans killed in an attempt to enter Maracaibo. The Daily Express states that the Panther’s object was to capture the Venezuelan gunboat Miranda, which was concealed at Maracaibo. During, an hour’s conflict one hundred and twenty shots were exchanged between the fortress and the Panther. The fortress was but little damaged, the Panther considerably. - ' New York, January 21.
