The Town Hall was crowded last \ evening when the above-named show i occupied the boards. The interest of s the audience was sustained from the * outset, and the unanimous opinion of.' j all was that the entertainment is tho l best that has ever visited the town, t The pictures illustrative of Tommy Atkins in peace and in war were very fine, and, as with all others shown, ( were remarkably clear. The Corona- v tion views were a revelation, and . included a review of troops at Alder ] : shot, naval review at Bpithead, t Coronation procession, and a splendid I view (the only one in the Australasian s Colonies) of tho crowning 1 ceremony in r the Abbey. Of humorous .pictures c there were many, and tho audience I were convulsed with the comical antics ( of Handy Andy, with the. Gunpowder Plot, The Wrestlers, and many others. \ The colossophone items were a real c treat, being clear and distinct, and comprising many sentimental and comic selections, among the former t being "Let me like a soldier fall," l " Kiilarney," " Death of Nelson," etc. i To-night the programme will be s considerably varied, and many beaufci- j ful pictures from "The Sign of the s Cross" will be shown. The miscellaneous pictures and colossophone selections will be intensely interesting.
