A Rich Reef.
Perth, January 7.
Two men pegged ground in the centre of the Southern Cross township, and after working some time a three-feet reef, carrying an ounce to the ton, was struck. The patch is reported as equal to the sensational strike at the Londonderry mine in the early days of the field. The specimens are fully half gold.
