School Committee Meeting.
The Havelock School Committee met on Monday Evening December, }5,1890. Present Messrs Mills (Chairman,) Clarke, Parker, Smith anc] Venimore, The minutes of the previous meeting were read an d confirmed. The report from the Head Master was read, —Roll at present: Bovs, 60; Girls, 61. The average attendance has been good, but still there are a number who just barely make the attendance r - Uc qijil'ed. Some three or four do not offe up to the Standard. It wasresolved that the Christmas holidays will commence on Monday, December 22. and school duties be resumed on Monday January 19, 1891. It was resolved that when the vacation ceases, if any children are absent from school without reasonable excuses, the parents will be summoned without further notice.
