Questions to be Answered.
[We do not in any way hold ourselves responsible for opinions expressed by our correspondents,]
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l wish to put a couple of queries through the medium of your valuable columns. They have no bearing to one another, but each requires an answer: (1) Why has the member for Waimea-Picton not given his usual pro-sessional address ? Is it that at the next general election he is not going to be a candidate ? (2) What steps is the Commissioner of Lands in Marlborough taking to inquire into the claims of old soldiers residing in the province under the Military and Naval and Volunteer Land Act. I am, &e., Elector.
