Loans to Farmers.
(OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Invercargill, Monday. At a meeting of farmers on Saturday a petition was adopted to Parliament in support of Government loans to farmers at a low interest. Several farmers opposed going begging to Government, and advised them to go home and workand avoid drink.
