CABLE NEWS. (own correspondent.) Constantinople, Sept. 25. So far as is at present known no very definite results has as yet attended Sir H. Drummond Wolffe’s mission to the Porte. He leaves here next week for Egypt London, Sept. 26. Earl Shaftesbury is seriously ill, and in a critical condition. H.M.S. Emerald will relieve H.M.S. Opal on the Australian station. The corn trade complain of the outturn of Australian and Californian wheat, and favor delivery on a quantity basis.
