In the House this afternoon Vogel said he regretted that there was no chance of carrying out the ’Frisco Mail Service with Auckland as the terminus, the Government were negotiating with regard to taking Sydney, Auckland and Honolulu as the terminus, with separate services between the latter place and ’Frisco, and he hoped to be able to report to the House berore the session was over, and get the sanction of Parliament as to what should be done.
