MEMORANDA
The further expansion of the Royal New Zealand Air Force is shown by the publication of an advertisement inviting applications from young men for short service commissions in the Royal Air Force and appointment to Che Royal Now Zealand' Air Force Reserve, (pilot's section). These candidates selected 1 .for short service commissions will undertake their initial training in New Zealand and will 1 serve for five years on 1 the active list and five years on the reserve.
