CATTLE VALUES FIRM There was a fair yarding of fat and is tore cattle ait Te Puke. The entry was disposed of, values baling firm at late rates. In the dairy section a good clearance was effected. A larger yarding of store pigs met with sa ready sale, but values did: not reach the Ihigh levels of a fortnight ago.
Quotations: — Cattle. —Young fat Jersey cows and heifers, £4 2s to £5; other fat cows, £3 lls to £5; forward cows, £2 13s to £3 3s; light boner cows, £1 to £2 heifers, £5 to £G: Jersey cows, £5 empty two-year heifers, £2 10s. Dairy Cows.—Good quality Jersey heifers, £7 sis to £7 15s; smaller heifers, £5 to £G; Jersey caws, £5 15s to £ll.
Pigs—Medium porker,s, £1 18s to £2 ss; light porkers, £1 7s to £1 12s; ■small stores, £1 2s Gd to £1 Gs Gd; clips, 15s to £1; wearers, 9s to 13s.
