N.Z. FINANCE PROBLEMS CHAIRMAN RETICENT (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The cable message in which suggestion is made by the City Editor of the London Daily Mail that New Zealand's London balances are, now so low there is a grave danger of default within three weeks, was submitted to Mr. Addison, chairman of the Associated Banks for any comment he might make upon it. Mr. Addison said he did not wish to do so at present. He remarked that the trading banks fully appreciated 'the various difficulties of the present situation, but he had nothing further to say than that.
