SECOND CONCERT

COSMOPOLITAN CLUB

GOOD ATTENDANCE

The second of a series of concepts was held in the Cosmopolitan Club's social hall last evening, when there was a large gathering cif members ■and friends.

A welcome was extended to the visitors by the president of the club, Mr. C, W. Baltson, and during the evening the orchestra, undt!.' the baton of Mr. T. W. Lighten, presented the following numbers: March, "Gallant Serbia"; selection, "The Little Cherub" (Ivan Caryl!); "Scarf Dance" (Chaminade); "Peer Gynt Suite," No. .2 (Greig); fantasia, "Fincklana" (Herman Flinck); march, "Marguerite" (Collard).

Oil-hex Hems -were:—Tap dances arid scan Lrubhais, Miss Colleen Persian; songs, "Fishermen of England" and "Little Old Lady," Mr. R. Sloan; Whistling 'solo, Mrs. A. C. Coleman, to her own accompaniment; musical saw, Mr. Hopkinson. The official 'accompanist was Mr. S. Lewis. The programme dlosed with all jointing Jn the club's good night song and the Na't'iona'i Anthem.

Mr. T. Ilaisman. announcer for the evening l , thanked the artists for the Cip'lcndid entertainment. The supper arrangements were in the capable 'hands of Mr. P. Bailey.
