THIRD ROUND DECIDED The third round o/ the Kahutia Bowling Club's Winter Fours tournament, which was decided on Saturday, saw McKenzie's rink take the lead, the team having experienced three wins and no losses in the competition to date. At the -close of the third round, Holland, Watt and Lane had a record of two wins and one loss, while Meredith, Somervell, Jackson, Holt, Walker and Jenkins had each registered a win and two losses.

The final round will be played next Saturday, and entries are being taken for the* second winter tournament commencing on June 24. Saturday's play resulted: — Stevenson, Booth, Patty, Watt (s) 25 v. Hagan, Hands, H. .Robinson, Holt (s) 22.

McKay, Good, R. Graham, Lane (s) 2D v. Marlor, H. Buckingham, Neenan, Walker (s) 10.

Esquilant, Gallop, Campbell, McKenzie (s) 28 v. Martell, Haisman, Dudfield, Jackson, (s) 16. G. Robertson, Ellis, Colley, Somervell (s) 22 v. W. Robertson, H. E. Clarke, Fischbach, Holland (s) 15. In an ordinary game McGrannigan and McCulloch 22 defeated Paltridge and Hay 15.
