QUERY BY GERMANY
FEAR IN SMALL STATES DIFFICULT TO ANSWETJ (Reed. April 21, 3 p.m.) LONDON, April 20. The Paris correspondent of The Times says that Germany is asking a number of 'the smaller States mentioned in President Roosevelt's appeal whether they feel threatened by Germany.
It will be most difficult to make an official reply in the affirmative and :f the replies are in the negative Herr Hitler will doubtless use them to discredit President R'oosevelt in the Reichstag on April 28.
