Six classes of men from the age of 33 years upwards and several other classes have been ordered to report for medical examination with a view to.four months cf service in the army Labour corps, REACTION ON EXCHANGE FIRMING TENDENCY

Signor Mussolini's speech caused a better tone on the stock markets. Continental operators, are re-entering as buyers. Tho improved tendency noted yesterday was maintained to-day, but business was . quiet owing to the proximity of the Budget. A feature to-day was the firmness of Central European investments, including German bonds and gold shares. The announcement that the British Ambassador to Germany, Sir Neville Henderson, is returning to Berlin also created a firmer sentiment. Giltedgeds are fractionally better. An Amsterdam message states that a sharp recovery on the Bourse, there followed Signor Mussolini's speech. Leading securities rose by eight to 12 points.
