Severe injuries were received by Mr Ei-nest R. Johnson, aged 24 single. a farm hand of Nelherton, when an exnlosion of benzine occurred as he S working in the shed of his Mr J J. Johnson. The force of the explosion hurled him against the wall of the shed and his clothes were lg The young man rushed to a near by stream and extinguished the flames by jumping into the water. He sintered severe burns to bis head arms and bodv and was taken immediately to the Thames Hospital in a serious condition. , The explosion set fire to the shed, which was considerably damaged.
