GOLD FLOWS TO U.S.A.
EUROPEAN COUNTRIES HUNDREDS OF .MILLIONS (Reed. April 21, 3 p.m.) LONDON, April 20. The Cunarcl-White Star liner, Antonia is cancelling her passenger trip to 'Montreal on May 5, and is going to New York on April 26 with a special cargo of about £2,000,000 m gold, but no passengers. Gold shipments to the United States in recent weeks amount to over £100,000,000, some belonging to the Belgian and Swiss national reserves. Other gold shipments this weekend will be Champlain, £3,000,000, Manhattan £7,000,000 and £4,000,000. The Aquitanda, Ardania, Britannic and Aseania will also take shipments.
