ORMOND CARD EVENING

The first o.f a series of card evenings held by -the Ormond Women's Institute in their club-room on Saturday evening was very successful and there was keen competition in the five-hundred. The prizewinners were.—Ladies: Mrs. Pardoe, 1; Mrs. Lovelock, 2. Gentlemen: Mr. Rogers, 1; Mr. Cook, 2. .Among those present were Mesdames ißogcr.s, SherrifV, Pardoe, G. Jones, A. H. Jones, Greig. Hope, Joel, W. Pardoe, Candy, Lovelock, Bowcs, Nickerson, Grey and Dixon; Misses Lewis, Cook, S. McMillan, Jennings. Dixon and Lovelock.
