WOMEN CYCLISTS In Australia more than in New ZcaU.ud women compete in cycle raced and last season several of them registered good times on the roads and one, Mrs. Valda Unthank, made two new board records on the Sydney arena recently. A quarter-mile dash was covered in 31 4-ssec, which reduces the previous record of 35sec. made by Miss Joyce Barry, who also rode well on the roads last season; while she also established a new women's lan record by riding the distance in 17 3-10 sec.
