STATE PURCHASE
To the list of building's* that have - been purchased in Wellington during the last'three years to meet the needs of providing quarters for new State* departments and additional accommodation for others, the Government has added Bible House, in Ballance street, opposite- the Justice Department block. This building, of five floors, is the headquarters 6f the New Zealand branch of the world-wide British and Foreign. Bible Society, which owned the; property and from which the Government lias made the purchase. The Government's acquisition of this building is linked with an announcement made'.some time ago for the extension, of the Public Trust Office. '
