Wool Sales Boycott Threat If the threatened French boycott of New Zealand wool sales is carried into effect growers in the Wanganui district will be particularly hard hit. This season in Wanganui France has bought from a third to a half—about 25,000 bales- —of the total wool offered. At an average price of about £l3 a bale, the value of the French purchases from the Wanganui district is £325,000.
