MTSS IVY WYNYABD News has been received of the death in Rome of a former Aucklander, Miss Ivy Wynyard, a daughter cf the late Mr. Robert Wynyard. of Devonport, for many years secretary of the Takapuna Jockey Club. In her earlier days Miss Wynyard was employed in the office of the Devonport Borough Council, and was well known in Auckland as an amateur actress. After the outbreak of the Great War she went to England and obtained a position in the High Commissioner's office in London. She became very proficient as a linguist, and later held a number of responsible posts, being for a time on the staff of the American Embassy.
