ELECTIONS IN TURKEY
WOMEN IN PARLIAMENT (Reed. March 27, 1 p.m.) ANKARA. March 26. The election of the Turkish Grand National Assembly returned 424 deputies. including 14 women. Many personalities of Kemal Ataturk’s regime were defeated. The Assembly meets on April 3 and will renew General Inonou’s Presidential mandate for four years.
