WIN FOR STAR VAAL (Por Prosa Association.) TAURANGA, this day. The second day of the Bay of Plenty Racing Club's meeting was held in glorious weather to-day. The track was in good order. There was a large attendance. Results: — Stewards’ Handicap, of £150; 6 fur-longs.—2-2 Star Vaal, 8.13, 1; 3-4 Midland, 9.5, 2; 5-5 Kakarerc, 8.13, 3. Won by a nose; a length. Time, 1.15. Motiti Handicap, of £150; 51 fur-longs.—4-4 Pantheist, 7.2, 1; 5-5 Foxsen, 7.0, 2; 2-2 Bronzeshar, 7.5, 3. Won by a bare neck; a bare neck. Time, L 8 2-5.
