The June meeting will take the form of a social evening, to which the ladies and younger ones could be in vited. Discussion took place on a suggested general assembly in Wellington during the centenary celebrations oi Boer War veterans resident in the Dominion, irrespective of unit or country of origin. Possession of the Queen’s South African War Medal would be the deciding factor. The Dominion executive is to be asked to take steps to further this objective, asking branches to approach their representatives in Parliament so as- to bring the question under the notice of the Government. During the winter months, it was decided to meet at 7.30 p.m.
